How did we get started talking about smurfs in Greenville? I can't remember why Mikel got a mask and we decided to paint Liz blue, but it was a mess. She was crying because she thought the blue was permanant (it was permanant on some of the stuff it got on). Then she opened the door and Mikel was standing there in his Frankenstein costume and scared her so badly she screamed and cried again. It took a very long time to get that stuff off her face.
I remember us speaking about the Smurf costume when we were downtown shopping. That's why when I showed up for dinner at the Italian place, I had the little Smurf for her. Very funny you found that picture! I also loved Frankenstein's monster when I was little.

Smurfs were before my time. I mean before the time when I had little kids. But I remember that Gillian liked them a lot.
